The Daffodil Project

In response to the disaster of 9/11/01, the Partnership for Parks was given a Gift of Daffodil bulbs from the City of Rotterdam,in the Netherlands. The Projects goal is to provide a lasting memorial to those who lost their lives on September 11 ,2001. Bulbs were provided to the FBGA , as well as to hundreds of other City Groups, by the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens to create this lasting memorial. The bulbs were planted throughout the City by thousands of volunteers. Other organizations also donated bulbs for this massive display;
