Learn how to grow your plants from seed.  Find out when to start different vegetables
and flowers, and the best growing mediums to use. This is a hands on workshop, make your
own seed tapes or start your own seeds.

Perlite does nothing but hold water, mix a little with a good germination soil to hold water better & good grow.
 The starting mixture on right is not recommended by us, because of salt content.

Natural Beginning is a good seed starter. Its organic humus with nutrition. On right  potting soil is for transplanting.

Peat Pots are for transplant the new seedling. Make sure to leave 1/2 space, so the water will settle in.

This  is a new product its called Coir. It expands to 10 quart when wet. fish Emulsion is a good
 source of food. Cut it down to 1/4 strength

A good assortment of seeds. The radishes go right into the garden.

 

Everything below is to make a seed strip. A lot of seed Green houses are making them now.
You can make them yourself.

Glue sticks or a mixture of flour and water is use. Keep the flour mixture a little thick.

Paint brushes for adding flour and water mixture.

On left one lettuce seed on the flour mixture. Right a strip of seeds, you plant it as is. Cover it lightly.
